General info and policies

Hello and welcome!

Lilypad Lacquer is an Australian Independent nail lacquer brand that is Made in Australia and Australian owned.
It is a registered Australian business ABN 72002734260 and operates from the North Coast of Australia.
Products on offer will include a colourful variety of lacquers that include a broad variety of special effect lacquers including;  holographics, duochromes, multichromes, hi sparkle colours, chameleon colours, cremes, flakies, topcoats and glitter polishes.
All my polishes are created, hand mixed, poured, packed and shipped by me.

Please also note that colours of polishes may appear varied and or different in real life as photos vary from monitor to monitor.

As batches that are made of individual colours are small, there may also be slight variations in colours so please be aware of this. I do my best to maintain as close to the original swatch colour as possible, however sometimes variations do occur. This is also a result of  new ingredients being used or new stock of the original ingredient, which may have been upgraded by the supplier without my knowledge.lighting also impacting on their true colours.

Please search for swatches of particular colours on the Lilypad Lacquer Facebook page or on the internet or Instagram and read the descriptions that accompany the product in the listings that have been written by me.

Whilst shopping in my store, please take time to read product descriptions in the listings as they form part of the listing that you are purchasing from.

Shipping info: 

All orders placed from customers within the US are shipped in a bulk shipment via DHL global express to my forwarder in the US and sent on from there.

All other orders from all other international destinations are sent via registered airmail or pack and track, depending on which service is available for each country.

Orders within Australia are sent via standard mail with tracking.

A note regarding insurance:

As not all packages i send internationally include insurance,  if a package should become missing or damaged in transit, a claim will need to be lodged where available, with your postal service. I am not responsible for packages once they have been shipped with the carriers and all enquiries need to be followed up with your postal service. I am happy to provide tracking details but as far as compensation goes, i am not liable for any loss or damage to your purchases.
If you do not accept this policy, then please do not purchase from me as it is important that this is understood clearly.
I do post updates on my Facebook page once orders are shipped, however at times, they may be a little late due to my workload.

Refunds are determined on an individual basis and will only be granted if I have grossly misrepresented a product or the product is faulty, which will need to be returned to me for assessment. All freight costs are at the customers expense.

As I am a sole trader and work solely on my own in every aspect of my business, I do ask that there be some understanding if orders are running a little late and just want all customers to know that I am doing my best to get them out as soon as I can.
